Dr. Daniel Richards has been providing quality dental care to the Vestavia Hills community since 2000. He earned his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Since graduating, Dr. Richards has stayed current in the field through continuing education courses and seminars. He is skilled in all areas of general dentistry and is prepared to meet your dental needs for optimal oral health. Dr. Richards loves dentistry and appreciates the opportunity he has to improve the smiles of his patients. As a native of Birmingham, Dr. Richards is pleased to again live in the area and offer dental services to the place he calls home.

Tonya has been in the dental field since 2003 and a hygienist since 2009. She is described as warm and cheerful. She and Dr. Richards have been married since 2010 and have one daughter. Outside the office, Tonya and Dr. Richards enjoy Alabama Football and spending time with their young daughter.

Erica ThornClinical Assistant
Erica joined the practice in 2019. She is dedicated to providing our patients with a positive dental experience. Erica is described as loyal and friendly. When she is not working, Erica enjoys watching Alabama football and spending time with family and friends.

Gabrielle “Gabby” SanfordHygienist
Gabby has been in the dental field since 2007, and a hygienist since 2015. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Alabama. She is described as fun, energetic and personable.
Gabby is an expert in her field. She has an exceptional understanding of dentistry, and is able to provide remarkable clinical service to her patients, as well as thorough patient education.
In her free time, Gabby enjoys traveling, smiling, making new friends, and loving on her dog Mardi.
